Barber was very hospitable and friendly. $50 (+ tip) for a men's haircut was a shock after reading reviews on affordability. I really wanted to like the cut, but I could have gone to Great Clips and gotten the same/better results for half the price. I even showed a picture of what I wanted, and what I walked away with was subpar.

VJ is the best barber in Glendale he cares and spends time for the best haircut outcome. I highly recommend VJ.

I accidentally stumbled upon this place, and had a great haircut experience. I guess Verj knows his way around my type of hair, which is mostly straight towards the root of the hair and a hint of wave towers the other end.

Vrej is very professional at what he does. Easy going and accommodating. Highly recommended.

All these reviews must be fake. This so called "barber" is unable to cut hair. I asked for a mid-taper, and he literally blotched my hair. He "tapered" both sides, unevenly and did not fade the haircut. I literally left midway through the haircut because this guy had no idea what he was doing. I confronted him, and he argued he did what I asked when I had to go to another barber, down the street (Rudy's) and ask for them to pick up what VJ messed up. I went to New York with a pretty bad haircut. Avoid this guy at all times.

Great experience with Vrej. He is an experienced barber that gets the job done and doesn't try to BS you or upsell products. He listens to what you want and does it. No he does not have sports playing on the TV nor does he make you look like Drake (or your favorite musician) but what he does do is give you an excellent hair cut and you walk out feeling like a million bucks.

I came in for a simple cleanup of my Mohawk....I'm assuming this is probably a very easy task for an experienced professional barber - apparently not....the sides were not very uniform - leaving longer strands closer to the Mohawk. I had to point out the strays to him so he could trim them off...and, since he never took a hand mirror so I could take a look at the back of my head, I'm assuming it's not very clean since I can feel the uneven lengths.

I even had to ask the barber to trim my side burns or he would have left them awkwardly long, despite the other hair being buzzed.

If that wasn't bad enough - at the end of the "haircut" - I was charged $25!! That's outrageous! Despite the fact that there was very little involved in cleaning up my cut, he charged DOUBLE what EVERYONE else has EVER charged me!!

UGH!! NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL FOR THAT INFLATED PRICE!!

I was in the area needed to get a cut while my girl was getting her hair done. Stumbled upon this gentlemen who squeezed me in just before an appointment and did a killer job, and super quickly.

No BS chitchat, he was on point and paid close attention to detail. Honestly I am super picky about my hair and travel a lot being from Paris - France... I know I know snob...

This chap new his art very very well.
